Stacey and Julie
200 Amsterdam Avenue

Located at Amsterdam and West 68th Street, this 51-story condo building, designed by Elkus Manfredi, will feature 112 one to five bedroom apartments, starting at $2.95M. The homes will boast gracious layouts reflective of pre-war buildings and the building will feature a plethora of amenities including a heated saltwater pool, a gym, golf simulator, children’s room, a soundproofed rehearsal room and much more.

Bradley Cooper snags Greenwich Village townhouse for $13.5M

Bradley Cooper recently paid $13.5 million for a charming, red-brick townhouse in Greenwich Village. The West 10th Street house has six bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms spread out over 4,000 square feet.

The property has 1,100 square feet of outdoor space, most notably a private garden at the rear of the house. Additionally, the house has a 1,000 bottle wine cellar; a full floor master suite with a gas-burning fireplace and a master bath with a cast iron soaking tub and large skylight.

Bluebird

British restaurant group D&D crosses the pond for the first time ever with its popular London restaurant Bluebird. Now perched on the third floor of the Time Warner Center, Bluebird is open all day with a cafe that transforms into a wine bar at night and a colorful dining room which overlooks Central Park. The menu includes British staples such as Cornish chicken pie, beef Wellington, and fish and chips. There is also a posh afternoon tea.

The Woo

From the daughter of the woman who ran now-closed Woo Lae Oak comes the Woo, a three-floor Korean barbecue restaurant in Soho. Owner Julie Choi describes the space as “refined and elegant” serving not only BBQ but also a spread of Korean dishes ranging from kimbap to simmered fish.

Shake Shack Innovation Kitchen

With homegrown burger chain Shake Shack spots all over the city, creator Danny Meyer has now kicked it up a notch at his new West Village location. The space seems like any other on the ground floor, but lying below is what’s called an Innovation Kitchen where the team will test out new menu items such as chicken nuggets and a cold brew matcha latte.

Darker Kitchens

While the trend in most new developments over the last many years has been to build white kitchens, including cabinets, countertops and kitchen islands, we have started to notice a shift in 2018. Darker hues are now being considered for many kitchen options. Bold colors, such as dark, blue, green or black, will often add more depth to the space and these colors are much easier to keep clean and hide the flaws of day to day use.
